Publishing and updates

Every module has one draft and, once published, one live version. Your pages always show the live one.

Draft, unpublished changes, published

A module's card shows where it stands:

  • Draft: never published. Its line does nothing yet.
  • Published: live on every page that carries its line.
  • Unpublished changes: you saved edits after publishing. Pages show the last published version until you publish again.

Saving and publishing

Save keeps your edits in the draft. Publish makes the draft the live version, and every page shows it on its next load. Offline, Quick Edit and the editor keep your changes on your device and save them when the connection is back.

Going back

Discard changes copies the live version back into the draft. To keep a version you might want again, duplicate the module before a big change.

Unpublishing

Unpublish takes the module off every page. Its line stays yours: publish again and the same line works again.

The live-module limit

Your plan sets how many modules can be published at once: 3 on Free, 25 on Pro. The limit is checked when you publish; unpublish one you no longer need to make room.

Try it on your own site.
